On the occasion of the feast of the Three Hierarchs, the Holy Metropolis of Limassol organized a ceremony in honor of the three Luminaries of the Universe, Basil the Great, Gregory the Theologian and John Chrysostom, dedicated to Father John Romanides (01/31/2017). Speaker at the event was the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Morphou Neophytos who with his mature and eloquent speech described thoroughly and empirically the topic of his speech: “Father John Romanides, a modern Cappadocian Theologian and modern empirical theologians." In this talk, Morphou discusses the Romanides family history of asceticism as an example for all of us, the empirical experiences of contemporary Saints and holy Orthodox people, and the path of catharsis and illumination leading to God.
